상품상세 관련상품 배송/교환/반품 안내 상품리뷰 MAX7219 (MAXIM 회사에서 만듦)는 64개의 LED를 컨트롤하거나 8개의 세븐세그먼트를 제어할 수 있는 IC입니다.  아두이노의 SPI 인터페이스를 이용하여 세개의 핀만으로 64개의 LED를 제어할 수 있도록 하는 유용하고 유명한 칩입니다.  먼저, 기본적으로 MAX7221 혹은 MAX7219의 회로는 다음과 같고, 아두이노와 아래와 같이 연결할 수 있습니다.         왼쪽의 아두이노 핀 세개와 GND를 이용하여 MAX7219에 연결하고, 이를 LED 매트릭스 (오른쪽에 연결하는 회로입니다)에 연결한 것이고, MAX7219 이회에 세 개의 소자가 필요한데, C1, C2 의 캐패시터와 저항 RSet입니다. 캐패시터는 전원공급시의 노이즈를 줄이기 위해서 필요합니다. 캐패시터를 생략해서 동작은 할 수 있으나, 간혹 발생하는 에러를 잡을 수 없기 때문에 반드시 캐패시터를 사용해야합니다. 저항 RSet은 LED에 흐르는 전류에 제한을 하기 위한 것으로, 사용되는 전류에 맞게 적당한 저항값을 사용하여야 합니다. MAX7219는 5V 전원이 필요한데, 아두이노에서 받을 수 있지만, LED 매트릭스 같이 여러개를 사용해야하는 경우에는 외부전원을 사용하고, GND만 통일시켜주는 것이 좋습니다.    만약, 몇개의 MAX7219를 사용하여 다수의 LED를 제어하기 위해서는 (Cascading), DOut을 다음 드라이버의 DIn에 연결하면 됩니다. 그리고, Clk, CS는 첫번째 드라이버와 같이 연결할 수 있습니다. 다만, 케이블의 길이가 길면 에러가 발생할 수 있기 때문에 10cm 이내로 하는 것이 좋습니다.  다음은 LED 매트릭스 연결법입니다.  위에서 오른쪽의 출력부분을 보면 Seg~Dig 핀들이 있는데, 이는 8x8 LED 매트릭스에 연결될 수 있습니다.    마찬가지로, 세븐세그먼트와 연결하는 방법은 다음과 같습니다.    When you need some help driving a lot of LEDs, the MAX7219 is the best friend you could hope for. Many of us know that if you want to control a lot of LEDs, you'll want to use multiplexing, a technique that lets you control 64 LEDs (say) with only 16 pins (8x8). The annoying thing about 'plexing is that you need to use 8 power transistors(or a power register/latch, that can supply over 100mA per pin) AND you have to constantly refresh the display to keep the image stable. If you need to get something together quickly, or don't want to bother with writing all that code, and especially if you want clean wiring, this chip is the one-stop-solution!  The MAX7219 does all the control and refresh work for you in driving either an 8x8 matrix display or 8 x 7-segment displays (usually these also have a dot so its really an 8-segment display) - 64 LEDs total. All you have to do is send it serial commands via the 4-pin SPI interface and it will auto-magically take care of the rest. Wiring is simplified as well, you only need to set the current level for all LEDs with a single resistor instead of 8 and you can also dim the entire display digitally. It's a thru-hole chip so you can use it in any breadboard, perfboard or other project, although if you're soldering it in, we suggest using a socket.  The Arduino playground has a nice set of tutorials introducing the MAX7219 and 8x8 LED matrices
